Early on I learned one of the primary lessons in fashion: Not everyone is going to love your personal style.

Case in point: This guy

Yes, he’s sporting overalls , a mini sailor-esque striped tee, a murse and genuine clogs (sadly not pictured!). And although I was initially taken aback by his ensemble, he quickly won me over- explaining earnestly that his outfit choices are based solely on wearing things that make him happy.

He reminded me of my #1 fashion rule: If you love it, then f#&k it- just make sure to wear it along with your biggest smile (like this guy!)
